Although there is only a sun intensity telling us about spring now,we hope that all that amount of snow will melt soon.

If you have a keen interest and talent for design, then there are a few points which you may wish to consider.

Firstly, you are likely to want to experiment with the way in which your designs work when used with fabric and clothing. You may find that you want to make certain alterations in order improve the appearance of your designs when used in connection with certain materials.

You will also want to think about the style of clothes which you are looking to create in general. Are you designing casual clothes which might be worn to watch TV or play Cheeky Bingo, or glamorous evening gowns which might be worn to a more formal event? Having a good idea of your goals can be the best way to make sure you create a collection which has direction, and a clear sense of style. 

You may have already completed a graphic design course, but you may also want to think about taking a course which focuses specifically on fashion. Dressmaking skills can often prove essential when your first set out as a designer. Professional training in this area can be extremely valuable, especially if it is something in which you have no prior experience.

You may look to gain work experience or an internship with a more established designer. You may even want to enter a design competitions, like those which feature on QooQoo.lv!

This can help you to build up a portfolio, which you will need in order to progress in your career as a fashion designer.

We had the most wonderful shoes for the show ever. You feel like at home anywhere(!!!) with the Tretorn boots from Sweden. Since i got my own pair of grey Tretorn boots, im not wearing them off..^^ Adore
